So, what has been?
Since 2021, I’ve grown a lot - and I like to think the style and visibility of my work has too. A highlight was installing 30 pieces of artwork in Scarborough’s South Cliff Gardens last year. This was my first ever outdoor exhibition, funded by the National Lottery Heritage & Community Fund, and it was two years in the making. The exhibition ‘Don’t Forget the Flowers’ combines a mixture of digital designs and photographs taken between Yorkshire, London & Amsterdam.

Recently, I’ve been experimenting with plum blossom and other seasonal flowers, continuing to explore the textures and forms that nature offers. Foraging and walking to find the plant matter I work with has been extremely grounding and peaceful.

What is next?

Without giving too much away just yet, I’m excited to say there are some lovely collaborations on the horizon—with makers whose work I deeply admire and whose values align with my own. I can reveal that there will be jewellery, lampshades, floral details, embroidery, and a creative exploration of my Polish heritage, in connection with another artist’s Ukrainian roots.
